Tulfra Real Estate and The Hampshire Companies Win ‘Commercial Beautification Award’

The City Of Clifton awards 65 Industrial Street South the highest honor for architecture and development

Clifton, NJ – November 02, 2016 – Tulfra Real Estate, a New Jersey-based real estate investment company and the Morristown-based Hampshire Companies have been awarded the 2016 ‘Commercial Beautification Award’ from the City of Clifton, New Jersey. The Honorable James Anzaldi, Mayor of Clifton and the Clifton Council presented the award yesterday for Tulfra’s recently completed, 65 Industrial Street South, a 204,000 square foot e-commerce and distribution facility.

Tulfra Real Estate’s Don Young and Marcus Lee, Wayne Corsey of Bowman Consulting and Irwin Kizel, principal of the architectural firm of Jarmel Kizel accepted the award.

Tulfra Real Estate and its partner, the Hampshire Companies recently completed their $10 million renovation and upgrades to the building including raising the roof to a 27’ ceiling height. Four months of demolition and structural foundation work preceded the roof lift.

The class A, single-story, freestanding building occupies 11 acres with freeway access to Route 3, the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway. The Lincoln Tunnel, providing access to New York City, is less than 10 miles away.

Constructed in 1956 and subsequently renovated, 65 Industrial Street South’s repositioning program includes a robust infrastructure, including ESFR sprinklers, a full fire loop and 3,000 amps at 480 volts of power, in addition a PSEG substation is just one-third of a mile away. It also offers 24 loading docks and 220 parking spaces on-site.

Tulfra Real Estate and its affiliates currently own and manage four million square feet of industrial and commercial real estate, encompassing more than 50 buildings with 200 public and private tenants in Northern and Central New Jersey.
